✍ What got me out of a funk -
- I have so much writing I want to do, so many ideas I want to share. But I found myself in a writing funk a couple months ago. I was experiencing the opposite of writer's block – writer's overwhelm. It wasn't the blank page that was giving me trouble, it was the countless
pages of notes, highlighted research papers, and marked up books that gave me pause. I was have a hard time bringing it all together into one cohesive whole, so I found myself avoiding it. But what got me out of the funk was to forget about "writing" and change formats to "designing." I started creating 10 slide information packets. For some reason, this 10 slide limit (thanks instagram!) gave me a creative constraint that helped break me out of the funk. I have since put
up 8 such slideshows on protein, most recently this week on Protein: Plants vs Animals.
- I have two more slideshows to go (on GNG and ketosis), then I'll attempt to compile all 100 of these slides into a cohesive article on protein. Wish me luck.

🎖 What I stumbled upon -
- Have you ever stumbled upon an old article that you 100% weren't expecting because it was so good you couldn't believe you hadn't seen it before? That's how I felt when I fell upon this talk by John Gardner, recipient of the 1964 Presidential Medal of Freedom, on how to live a meaningful life.

❓ What's your guess -
- In 2019 he was the most streamed artist. He had the most listened to album of the year. He sounds unique yet like everything else. He was 1/2 the inspiration of my last song, Just One More (Shakespeare was the other 1/2 – a strange combination indeed :) He's 24. And he has a fascinating story. Any guess?

2️⃣ What's long overdo -
- During my 2019 Challenge (learn to draw by practicing at least 5 min/day; 5 days/week) I used various books and tutorials to guide my practice. While many were ok, there were 2 resources that made all the difference. So I finally got around to organizing my top 2 "learn to draw" resources and accompanying supplies. If
you want to learn to draw, I'd say these 2 will put you on the fast track (I probably would have progressed 2X as fast if I would have just focused on these alone).

subsequent artwork.

➰ What I'm using -
- I haven't worked out in almost a month. I can't go another. Prior to this I hadn't taken more than 1-2 weeks off at any point in the last 20 years. So I went to find a solution. I don't have space for a real home gym, but I wanted something that would allow me to take my muscles to failure without having to do 400 reps. So I did my research. (...and it looks like I'm not the only one according google search trends)
