🧂 What happens if you eat 40g of sodium/day -Â
- I got to have Scott Myslinski, the host of CarnioreCast, on my podcast. Having interviewed many brilliant minds, Scott has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the Carnivore Diet. When we scheduled this podcast, I wanted to do a "meta-analysis" with him reviewing his biggest learnings from his guests on CarnivoreCast. While we did explore the highlights from some of these podcast guests, his personal n=1 experiments stole the show. From eating 40g of sodium/day to experimenting with 300g of carbs/day Scott has a lot of experience that he graciously shares in this episode.

 🔄What demanded a recount -Â
- Last week I asked what you'd prefer me to do:Â
- 1. Continuing writing the Carnivore Macronutrient Series
- Write 2 more articles: one on Protein and one on Fat (the carbohydrate article is already published)
- 2. Write on the "Evidence Against a Plant-based Diet"
- After tallying up hundreds of votes (thank you for all the responses!), it was so close that I had to actually recount. Turns out the macronutrient series won by a fraction. So I'll get to work on this :)Â

 📽 What I'm watching -Â
- I was having a hard time deciding what to put in this 3rd spot. I like to reserve it for something profound, something I encountered that really challenged my mind or perspective during the week. So I asked on Twitter for the best article/video/podcast you've ever read/watched/listened to. Thanks to a recommendation by @buckthundaz I started
watching lectures by Leonard Bernstein, one of the most talented musicians in American history. So good. Definitely worth this 3rd position.

✒ What got some ink -
- I accidently participated in #inktober this year, a massive annual event where tens-of-thousands of people challenge themselves to draw every day in October.  As you may know, my New Year's challenge this year is to learn how to draw by committing at least 5 minutes, 5 days/week to practice. During Inktober I practiced drawing hair so I can finish a portrait drawing in November.
- Then the plan is to do another portrait of my nephew James in December. He was the 1st drawing I did this year. This way I can compare progress from Month 1 to 12.Â
- Then in January 2020 (besides starting a new New Year's Challenge...more on this soon)Â I am planning on doing a self-portrait to compare to the self-portrait I did prior to the start of this new years challenge (the "before pic" is too bad to post at this time :)
