You've been duped if you take multivitamins instead of eating egg yolks, oysters, liver, and salmon roe.

I posted this on twitter, and someone had concerns about mercury.

Salmon are lower on the food chain and have shorter lifespans, which limits the accumulation of mercury compared to larger, older, predatory fish.

Further, even less mercury accumulates in the roe compared to muscle tissue.

Oysters also have relatively low mercury levels since they are filter feeders.

🦷 How to regrow a tooth:

Unlike a bone, if you break a tooth it can't regrow.

Well, not yet...

Researchers are aiming to regrow teeth through a new drug.

The drug blocks the USAG-1 protein, which enables bone morphogenic protein (BMP) to get to work regrowing teeth. (r)

Apparently, they've had successful trials in ferrets where a single administration was enough to re-grow a whole tooth (ferrets are diphyodont animals with similar dental patterns to humans).

The drug is moving to human trials and could be ready by 2030.

But I wouldn't sign up for this trial. We already know that dysregulated BMP signaling is carcinogenic.

Instead, I recommend keeping the teeth you have (via a good diet and nasal breathing).
