This is easier said than done...
The trick is to re-define "problems" as opportunities.
A skills problem is an opportunity to learn and grow.
A personal problem is an opportunity to gain
understanding.
A business problem is an opportunity to create value.
From now on, when I get hit with a "problem," I'm working on saying "good" and then defining what beneficial outcome can result from the "challenge."
I think everyone can benefit from this, but especially people in "lower mid life," the least happy age group in
the US (and common globally), as reported in the 2024 World Happiness Report.
