👌 What 3 foods I'm going to eat for the next 2 years:
Last week I had a poll where people tried to guess my body fat. Most people guessed a lower body fat % than reality. Thank you.
But it's about to change (I think...). Here's my diet plan for the next 2 years, mostly just 3 foods...
Besides the 3 foods I'm eating for the next 2 years, I'll also be starting each month with a twist (something I've never done before).
P.S.
Here's some more trivia: Guess what your stomach pH is?
• Herbivore: 4-6
• Omnivores: 3-4
• Carnivore: ~2
Human: _____??? (answer...)

🏋️♂️ How to workout:
In the video above I mention getting back in the gym!
For the last 2+ years, I've been doing home workouts with resistance bands. While I'll continue using these, I'm adding iron back in.
Here's a paper that has a nice summary on how to workout for hypertrophy and is quite similar to what I'll be doing:
- Load: Vary higher and lower rep schemes
- Frequency: Each muscle 2-3X/week
- Volume: 10-20 total sets per muscle per week
- Exercises: Variety for variable strength curves
- Rest: Minimum 1-minute between sets; longer for compound movements
- Intensity: Most sets near failure with at least 1 set to failure per muscle per workout

💲 Why did it take so long:
I used to go to Gold's Gym. It was less than a mile from my house, but it closed in 2020. For good.
"Luckily" there is a beautiful gym with pools, spas, you-name-it, just 2 miles away. But it's outrageously expensive for someone just wanting to lift weights.
So instead, I tried a 3-day pass at a gym that required over 30-minutes of commute. Wasting time is high on my list of things I don't like to do. It was also jammed every time I went. Didn't' feel like my next home-away-from-home.
But now it's time for me to practice what I preach. Invest in what matters. To me, that means education, passion projects, food and now...a very expensive gym. If you want to help me make the 1st month's payment, check out Meat Health Academy! :)

3️⃣ Which are you:
I read that there are 3 types of employees:
- The Creatives: these people start things and have ideas
- The Completers: task-oriented people that focus on what needs to get done
- The Collaborators: strong communicators that bridge the gaps between departments and other people
However, I think we are all a blend of these with different ratios.
If I had to bucket myself, I'd say I'm 50% "Completer," 40% "Creative," and 10% "Collaborator." (I've been working on not being such a lone wolf!)
What is clear to me is how important it is for an organization to have all kinds of people with unique skills / traits to complement others and make the wheels-go-round.

🧠 What quote I've been thinking about:
"A writer, and I believe generally all persons, must think that whatever happens to him or her is a resource. All things have been given to us for a purpose, and an artist must feel this more intensely. All that happens to us, including our humiliations, our misfortunes, our embarrassments, all is given to us as raw material, as clay, so that we may shape our art."

📶 What is bitcoin:
Fundamental to understanding bitcoin is understanding what is money?
If you fall down that rabbit hole, this becomes one of the best visuals to answer the infinitely complex question, "what is bitcoin?"

P.S.
I had a debate with a flat earther. He said he'll walk to the edge of the earth to prove me wrong. I'm sure he'll come around.
