Since then, I've been
doing a slow "reverse diet" where I've been eating more and more over time.
Last week I had my body fat % measured again via the same InBody scan.
I dropped 5 pounds of fat and gained 1 pound of muscle, for an overall drop in body fat >2% (from 12% to 10%), in the last month.
How is this possible? Shouldn't fat loss stop with calories going up?
As shocking as this may seem, with a properly structured "fat loss sprint" (which I did for 6 weeks earlier in the summer) and subsequent "reverse diet," it's common for fat loss to continue even though calories are increasing.
P.S.
In the Bonus trainings in Meat
Health Academy, I discuss how to do a fat loss sprint and reverse diet. If you've ever thought about getting in the Academy, now is the time. We are giving all Academy members 30-Days of coaching with a Meat Health Coach in September to re-anti-up and finish the year strong.
If you're already an Academy member, I'll be emailing you soon about getting started with your Coach in September!
